Summer Swim Lessons

Olivia was in sea sprites. She learned to float on her back, kick her feet, and swim without floaties.

Jaren did diving lessons with Ellie. He was trying a flip. He didn't land so well. He learned to back dive, tuck dive, and a pipe dive. He moved onto intermediate which he will do next summer.
Tae and I were in mommy and me class. She learned to get out of the pool, try and blow bubbles, and going under. She loves the water. Good thing living in Arizona.
Ellie also did diving. She had a little more fear to overcome. She did her back dive and is working on perfecting the other dives. She is excited to do it again next summer.

Sand Sculptures

Liv and Tae worked together to bury kids or fill buckets.
Grandpa got in on the fun. Justin was the first to be burried in the sand.

Zach had buckets for boobs. I love his little smile.

Jaren was our sea mermaid. He loved the attention.

Happy Fourth of July!

Brig and Jenn brought fireworks from Indio and we let some off in Newport. The kids loved them. We had sparklers, flowers, picallo pete's, and smoke boombs. Then we watched the real fireworks from Newport and Dana Point. They were fantastic and the kids loved them. This was the only picture of me from the vacation. I am usually the one taking the pictures. Jaren was off riding his scooter so I grabbed whomever I could find. Ty was home working while we were playing. Tough break!!

Brig gave Livi a sparkler and yelled for her to run. She freaked out and started crying then dropped it into the grass. We got her to try again, but this made us all laugh.

Our Little Relly

This is Jenn and her little boy Rell. He is standing in the hole. He loved the sand and playing with all the kids. Jenn is a great mom and has a lot of fun with him. His smile is so contagious.

Let me explain....

Next to where we were sitting there were three girls that enjoyed taking pictures of themselves. They took pictures all day. They would change hats, primp hair, lay on the beach, run in the water, and then just plain pose. It was hillarious. So my dad would try and get into the picture by posing in the background. We all laughed so hard. They of course were oblivious to the situation. They were so into themselves that it made it even funnier. Even when we immitated them they could care less. I had to capture the moment because it was so stupid it was funny.

Livi's beach buddy. Grandpa took her into the ocean. Tae loved the sand, and diggin in it.

These are my nephews Zach and Justin. The kids like to try and surf on the boogie boards. The loved the waves and trying to catch the big one.

Tae's First Haircut

I needed to have Tae's hair cleaned up so we took her to Super Cuts. She was so good. She was very serious and stayed right where he asked her. She did much better with him then she does with me. She looked so cute with her sweet face. I love it.

Bounce U

Jaren and Ellie had their birthday party at Bounce U. They invited all their friends and played for a couple of hours. Their were slides, basketball, boxing and a maze. The kids were able to release a lot of energy in a cool place. They had a blast!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

I just want to tell my dad Happy Father's Day. He is a great father, grandfather and friend. He has been there for me through a lot. I appreciate him in my life and in the lives of my kids. They love how kind, funny and supportive he is. He is at their games when he is home, he attends school functions, and loves to play in the pool. I am sorry he is out of the country to spend the day with him but we love you a lot and miss you when you are away. Thanks for all you do. Here are some things the kids had to say about grandpa:
Jaren- "He always remembers me on his trips, thank you"

Off to San Francisco

My sister Amy, my mom, and I went to San Francisco for the weekend. We had a lot of fun. We went on a bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Hung out in Salsolito at a Farmer's Market. Shopped at Gherrideli's Square, visited Fisherman's Warf, saw a play called "Beach Blanket Babylon", ate in little Italy, shopped at a street fair, saw a movie, and finally watched a parade of naked men ride their bikes through the street fair protesting gas prices. This was a great city to visit. It had a little bit of everything. The weather was great, the people were fantastic to watch, and the food was outstanding. I would definately go back and hope to soon.

Where are we going?

Here are two fools trying to figure out where to get off and where to go. We are riding on the BART which we took from the airport to downtown. We met some interesting people. Some that like to dance to their own beat and others that were just plain funny.

Riding the Trolley

I absolutely loved this. The fresh air blowing felt so good. We even got my mom out a couple of times to get the full experience. It was a fun way to get around. We also met some great guys that worked for the trolley. We were so amazed how they drive these things. They had great personalities and
made us all laugh.

The Curran Theatre

So while we were out sightseeing we found the Curran theatre (if you do not know this is my maiden name). This is the play that was currently showing. The two guys dressed as women fit perfectly in our family. Those Curran's, I always knew they were a little fruity. We did not get to see it but wanted to, it looked funny.
