Reuniting with Good Friends.

This is my friend Sarah Shultz and Lisa Jones. Lisa was visiting from Okinawa, Japan. She is living there because her husband Sam is in the Air Force. They will be there for three years total. I loved seeing her. We met at Pei Wei's and ate dinner and chatted from 7-12 at night. It was great to catch up and see each other. Time might have passed but the friendship is still strong. Can't wait till she get's back in the states so I can see her more often.

Karokee is not just for the talented.

Here we are at G-ma and G-pa Curran. They got a karokee set for Christmas and we all rocked it. Amy (my sister) has her two boys with their new guitars. They call themselves the "Flaming Trojans" (let your imagination go with that one). We have a lot of fun and all have absolutely no talent. So do not expect to see us performing any time soon.

No Experience Necessary

Jaren had his first Pinewood Derby in January. He designed the car and Ty cut it out. Jaren sanded it and I painted it. Ty polished up the wheels and I put the weights on. Can you tell? It was the blind leading the blind. We put weights here and there and tweaked wheels front to back. We did our best and believe it or not WE WON! That's right Jaren won the whole thing. He was not beatin' once. I thought we might maybe win one, but all we were shocked. Jaren was so psyched and loved every second. I hope he understands how luck works, I don't think we can squeak this out two years in a row. What a blast!

Broadway Here we come

Ellie was given a ticket to see Annie from Grandpa and Grandma Curran. Grandpa decided to give his ticket up to me so I went with them. We went the day after Christmas to see Annie at the Gamage. Ellie loved it and was amazed at how young the girl was who played Annie. She has watched the movie and really got into it just like me when I was young. Grandpa gave her a copy of the music so she can listen and dance to it.

I finally finished!!!

I finally finished this wonderful book. I loved it. The beginning was great, the middle a little dull, the end WOW! The first kiss was amazing. I did decide that this can't be a movie because no one can act these amazing scenes out better then I do in my mind. My imagination runs and I don't know who could portray it with the passion I imagine. The Italy scene was nerve racking and the fact that he CAME BACK I loved. I have been waiting and waiting and my love came back. Sorry Jacob you were a great fill in but you can't come close to Edward. I am on to Eclipse and loving it. It takes me forever and avid readers think I take forever but it is all worth it.

A great Movie to see

I went to the movies with my movie partner Kristy Lamb and we saw this movie. I laughed and cried. It was all around a FANTASTIC movie. She and I both agreed we needed to find a rich man preferrably handsome to help us fulfill our Bucket List. One thing on my list is to accomplish the 3Day walk. I am going to do it this year. I will post more when I figure out all the details. All I know is that I am not waiting, this is the year. All who would like to join the team you are more then welcome.

My Fav. Movie

I stinkin' loved this movie. Ellen Page is fabulous. This movie is so real and played the teenage pregnancy so beautifully. It was real in every way and the acting was great. I encourage all to see.

Through the year...

This is Tae over the year.

She loves skeddie.

This is her early Christmas from Lexi. It is a duck towel. Man, she is stinkin' cute.

Happy Birthday Taelyn!

I can't believe that it has already been a year. My little Tae is turning one today. She has been the greatest joy this last year. She has learned to crawl, walk, and now run. She eats big people's food. Loves to make people laugh. Waves hi and bye. Gives great kisses and is the best snuggler. We are so glad to have her sweet spirit in our home.

Gingerbread House

So it is the first day of Christmas break. I can't believe how much longer I have to go. We decided to decorate a gingerbread house while Tae slept. The kids did really well. I frosted while the kids ate and decorated. I cheated by using a glue gun to hold it in place first. Only 4 more days till Christmas. HURRY!

SANTA

The kids were at the ward Christmas party and sat on Santa's lap. It looks as if Tae was a little unhappy about that.

The Elf on the Shelf

This is Eddie Chu-Cha Dan. Each kid named him. We call him Eddie for short. He came to our home last year. He comes on the first of December. He has a different place every day and the kids find him. He watches the kids and reports back to Santa each night. We never touch him because he can loose his magic if we do. Then after Christmas he goes back in his box and returns next year. Our family has a lot of fun with him. This picture is his latest hiding place. How did he do that?

Decorating the Tree!!

We finally got around to decorating the tree. Sadly it sat for days with nothing on it.
So I let the kids do it all by themselves. I at one point
had to leave because I wanted to fix it and make it perfect but it
turned out perfect with the three placing ornaments here and there.
The kids love to see the ornaments they have collected over the years.
I give them one and so does grandma Ramsey. Seeing their first Christmas one is my favorite.

Happy Birthday Olivia!!!

Olivia turned three today. YAHOO!!!! We had her
party at grandma and grandpa Curran's house on Sun.
Our theme was doggie's. We broke a pinata, played
pin the paw on the dog, and freeze dance. She had
family and friends to celebrate. They got her baby
dolls, soccer ball, games, and books. All in all it was a
great day. Love you Livi!

Pinata Fun

We played pinata at the party. Jaren ripped his legs off but Brady busted the belly and away the candy flew. Lexi took a good whack at it. Her mom Kristy helped and cheered her on.

Gettin' Jiggy with it

The kids were playing freeze dance. We had some pretty funky moves going.

Making a wish. My mom forgot the candles so we improvised.

Opening presents.

Livi visited the dentist and they gave her a balloon. Her dad told her not to let go of it and she didn't even when she was sleeping.

My buddy Casey

This is my my buddy Casey. We have been friends since birth. We like to play together.

Through the years...

Livi has brought a lot of fun and excitement to our family. She likes to swim, dance, play pretend, and be with her daddy.

Stephanie Meyer Addict

I have finally caught the Twilight Series wave and I am enjoying the ride. The books are amazing. I love the way they grab my attention and I am sucked in forever. I am still on New Moon. I am ashamed to admit that I have not stayed up for three days and read all three like the other addicts I have talked to. I do have all three and am filling all the extra time I have with my nose in the books.

Happy Halloween!

We went to a party last night where we carved pumpkins. We had a lot of fun. Can you guess which one was Jaren's? He says it looks just like him. Liv is the one in the middle and Ellie is one on the left. We can't wait for Wed. night so we can get lots of candy!! yummy

My Little Angel

Tae and Liv had just gotten
out of the bath and Liv's
dress-up wings were out so
I stuck them on her and she
looked so cute. I couldn't help
but show the world.

Jaren's Hero

Jaren's school just had red ribbon week and each day they had different things to wear to school. On Friday it was dress as your favorite super hero. He choose his dad. So here he is in his dad's shirt from the academy. He was really proud.
