Livi and Libby Best Buddies

GEORGE CAME BACK!

Goerge came back from Reno for a visit. Of course Christin and I were beyond excited to see our best buddy. We went out to dinner with he and his wife Shannon to Serrano's. We then were thrilled to spend time talking while the little girls played. We had so much to catch up on that after 10 Diet Cokes we were right back on the same page without skipping a beat. It was definatley not enough time at all, but we are grateful for whatever we can get.
Best Buds.
Like no other.
The best smile. It makes your day.

3 months to go...

I can't believe it only three months until the 3 day. On the 9th my girlfriend and I went to a training walk in Phoenix. We left at 4:00 a.m. to get there in time. We walked 10 miles with about 200 people. After we were finished they had a room filled with a bunch of sponsors and tips on what we need for the 3 day. The walk was great. I felt really good about being physically ready for it. I learned that I do not want a backpack on my back and that I need a bandana or towel to wipe the sweat. Hopefully it will not be over 100 degrees in November. Most places it isn't but they said last year it was 95. Holy Cow! I am hoping for a cold front to move on through for that weekend. The women were amazing and the crew was awesome. There is still time to donate. Go to the3day.org and donate under my name. I have about $140.00 to go. Yahoo!!! I am almost there. Thanks to all of those that helped support me. I will keep you posted as we get closer.

WEBKINZ!!!!

These stuffed animals are the lastest craze. They come with a code that they enter on the computer. Each animal gets a room and money to design it. They have games and jobs to play to earn money. They have such a great time playing it and I have learned to like it also. They connect with their friends and send gifts back and forth. I also love having a little leverage when it comes to discipline. They are so cute and to watch them on the computer is funny. They like taking care of them and have a good time with each other.

Homework Time

While the older kids were doing homework in the kitchen, the younger ones set up their own homework place. They looked so cute on their tummies coloring with their feet in the air.

Happy Days are Here Again!

Jaren and Ellie started school on August the 6th. They were so excited to see their friends and I was excited to have a little peace. Jaren is in 4th and Ellie is in 2nd.

Livi started school on the 12 of Aug. She is going to school at Pumpkin Patch with Mrs. Amee. She has 8 kids in her class and loves to wear a backpack like the big kids.

Hot Fun in the Summertime!

Too cool for words. I just love the older years when being cool is all that matters. Yeah Right what have I gotten into?

Happy Birthday to Jaren, Happy Birthday to Jaren cha cha cha!

Today is Jaren's birthday! WOW 9 years old I can't believe it. Here are some pictures of him over the years. As you can see he loves sports and cub scouts. He is excited to start school on the 6th and get back to see his old friends and meet some new ones. Jaren is a very fun and outgoing child. He loves his sisters and worships his dad. He is a great son and I love having him in our family. Today Jaren played his first round of golf with his dad. He has had some lessons but has never played on the big course. He held his own in the 110 degree weather. He laughed and shot the breeze with the big boys. We all love you Jaren.

Summer Swim Lessons

Olivia was in sea sprites. She learned to float on her back, kick her feet, and swim without floaties.

Jaren did diving lessons with Ellie. He was trying a flip. He didn't land so well. He learned to back dive, tuck dive, and a pipe dive. He moved onto intermediate which he will do next summer.
Tae and I were in mommy and me class. She learned to get out of the pool, try and blow bubbles, and going under. She loves the water. Good thing living in Arizona.
Ellie also did diving. She had a little more fear to overcome. She did her back dive and is working on perfecting the other dives. She is excited to do it again next summer.

Sand Sculptures

Liv and Tae worked together to bury kids or fill buckets.
Grandpa got in on the fun. Justin was the first to be burried in the sand.

Zach had buckets for boobs. I love his little smile.

Jaren was our sea mermaid. He loved the attention.

Happy Fourth of July!

Brig and Jenn brought fireworks from Indio and we let some off in Newport. The kids loved them. We had sparklers, flowers, picallo pete's, and smoke boombs. Then we watched the real fireworks from Newport and Dana Point. They were fantastic and the kids loved them. This was the only picture of me from the vacation. I am usually the one taking the pictures. Jaren was off riding his scooter so I grabbed whomever I could find. Ty was home working while we were playing. Tough break!!

Brig gave Livi a sparkler and yelled for her to run. She freaked out and started crying then dropped it into the grass. We got her to try again, but this made us all laugh.
