Reuniting with Good Friends.

This is my friend Sarah Shultz and Lisa Jones. Lisa was visiting from Okinawa, Japan. She is living there because her husband Sam is in the Air Force. They will be there for three years total. I loved seeing her. We met at Pei Wei's and ate dinner and chatted from 7-12 at night. It was great to catch up and see each other. Time might have passed but the friendship is still strong. Can't wait till she get's back in the states so I can see her more often.

Karokee is not just for the talented.

Here we are at G-ma and G-pa Curran. They got a karokee set for Christmas and we all rocked it. Amy (my sister) has her two boys with their new guitars. They call themselves the "Flaming Trojans" (let your imagination go with that one). We have a lot of fun and all have absolutely no talent. So do not expect to see us performing any time soon.

No Experience Necessary

Jaren had his first Pinewood Derby in January. He designed the car and Ty cut it out. Jaren sanded it and I painted it. Ty polished up the wheels and I put the weights on. Can you tell? It was the blind leading the blind. We put weights here and there and tweaked wheels front to back. We did our best and believe it or not WE WON! That's right Jaren won the whole thing. He was not beatin' once. I thought we might maybe win one, but all we were shocked. Jaren was so psyched and loved every second. I hope he understands how luck works, I don't think we can squeak this out two years in a row. What a blast!

Broadway Here we come

Ellie was given a ticket to see Annie from Grandpa and Grandma Curran. Grandpa decided to give his ticket up to me so I went with them. We went the day after Christmas to see Annie at the Gamage. Ellie loved it and was amazed at how young the girl was who played Annie. She has watched the movie and really got into it just like me when I was young. Grandpa gave her a copy of the music so she can listen and dance to it.

I finally finished!!!

I finally finished this wonderful book. I loved it. The beginning was great, the middle a little dull, the end WOW! The first kiss was amazing. I did decide that this can't be a movie because no one can act these amazing scenes out better then I do in my mind. My imagination runs and I don't know who could portray it with the passion I imagine. The Italy scene was nerve racking and the fact that he CAME BACK I loved. I have been waiting and waiting and my love came back. Sorry Jacob you were a great fill in but you can't come close to Edward. I am on to Eclipse and loving it. It takes me forever and avid readers think I take forever but it is all worth it.

A great Movie to see

I went to the movies with my movie partner Kristy Lamb and we saw this movie. I laughed and cried. It was all around a FANTASTIC movie. She and I both agreed we needed to find a rich man preferrably handsome to help us fulfill our Bucket List. One thing on my list is to accomplish the 3Day walk. I am going to do it this year. I will post more when I figure out all the details. All I know is that I am not waiting, this is the year. All who would like to join the team you are more then welcome.

My Fav. Movie

I stinkin' loved this movie. Ellen Page is fabulous. This movie is so real and played the teenage pregnancy so beautifully. It was real in every way and the acting was great. I encourage all to see.
